Order Cancellations
Contact Echo’s Treats as soon as possible if you need to cancel an order.
Custom, personalized, perishable, and made-to-order products may only be canceled before preparation or production has begun. Once work has started or ingredients, materials, or custom supplies have been committed specifically to the order, the order may no longer qualify for cancellation or refund.
Pre-orders must be canceled before the ordering deadline shown for the selected market, event, or pickup date.
Canceling an order is not complete until Echo’s Treats has confirmed the cancellation.
Wedding and Large-Event Orders
A 50% nonrefundable reservation deposit is required for all wedding cakes and custom wedding or large-event orders. The requested date is not reserved until the deposit has been received.
The remaining 50% balance must be paid by the deadline listed on the invoice or order agreement.
If a fully paid wedding or large-event order is canceled before production or custom preparation has begun, the amount paid above the 50% reservation deposit will be refunded.
The reservation deposit remains nonrefundable because it covers planning, administrative work, and the date held specifically for the order.
Once production or custom preparation has begun, the order is no longer eligible for a refund. Production or preparation may include:
-
Purchasing ingredients or materials specifically for the order
-
Ordering custom packaging or supplies
-
Beginning design or decoration work
-
Baking or preparing products
-
Assembling or packaging the order
If Echo’s Treats must cancel the order and cannot provide an agreed-upon replacement or alternative, all payments made toward the canceled order will be refunded.
Membership and Recurring Billing
This section applies to the Love ’em & Treat ’em Membership and any other recurring membership offered by Echo’s Treats LLC.
Automatic Monthly Renewal
Memberships automatically renew each month at the price displayed when the customer enrolls unless the membership is paused or canceled.
By purchasing a membership, the customer authorizes Echo’s Treats and its payment providers to charge the payment method on file on each scheduled renewal date until the membership is canceled.
There is no required minimum membership term.
How to Cancel
Members may cancel their membership at any time by:
-
Logging into their customer account and selecting the option to manage or cancel the membership
-
Using the membership-management link included in a membership email
-
Emailing support@echostreats.com
The online membership portal is the fastest way to prevent an upcoming renewal.
Email cancellation requests must include the member’s name and the email address connected to the membership so Echo’s Treats can locate and verify the account.
Echo’s Treats will provide confirmation when an emailed cancellation request has been processed.
Cancellation Timing
To avoid the next monthly charge, the membership must be canceled before the renewal payment is processed.
A cancellation request received after a renewal payment has been processed will stop future renewals but will not retroactively cancel or refund the charge that has already occurred.
The effective cancellation date and the end of membership benefits will be shown in the customer portal or cancellation confirmation.
Canceling a membership does not automatically cancel a separate product order that has already been placed.
Membership Charges and Refunds
Membership charges are nonrefundable once processed, except when:
-
A duplicate charge occurred
-
The charge resulted from an error by Echo’s Treats or its payment processor
-
A refund is required by applicable law
-
Echo’s Treats approves an exception in writing
Refunds and account credits are not provided because a member:
-
Forgot to cancel before the renewal date
-
Did not use the membership during the billing period
-
Did not redeem an included benefit
-
Did not attend an eligible event
-
Did not place an order
-
No longer wants the membership after the renewal charge was processed
Membership fees are not prorated for a partially used billing period.
Membership Benefits
Membership benefits are available only while the membership is active and in good standing.
Monthly benefits, including a complimentary Puppy Pour or similar monthly perk, must be redeemed during the applicable billing period.
Unused monthly benefits:
-
Do not carry over into a future month
-
Cannot be exchanged for cash
-
Cannot be transferred to another customer
-
Cannot be applied retroactively to a previous purchase
-
Are forfeited when the applicable redemption period ends
Membership discounts must be applied when an eligible order is placed. Discounts cannot be added retroactively after checkout.
Membership benefits and discount codes are intended for the member’s personal use. They may not be shared, resold, transferred, or used for commercial purchasing unless Echo’s Treats approves the arrangement in writing.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, membership discounts may not be combined with other discount codes, promotions, wholesale pricing, or special offers.
Orders Placed Before Cancellation
Canceling or pausing a membership does not cancel, refund, or modify a separate order placed before the membership change took effect.
Treat, cake, beverage, event, custom, and merchandise orders remain subject to the Echo’s Treats Returns and Refunds Policy, Pickup and Delivery Policy, and any terms shown on the applicable product page.
A member who used a membership benefit or discount before cancellation is not entitled to a refund of the membership charge based on that use.
Pausing a Membership
When a pause option is available through the membership platform, members may pause their membership through the customer portal.
During a pause:
-
Recurring membership charges stop
-
Membership benefits and discounts are temporarily unavailable
-
Unused benefits do not accumulate
-
The membership resumes on the date shown in the customer portal or confirmation
To prevent an upcoming renewal charge, the pause must be completed before the payment is processed.
Failed Payments
Members are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method and accurate billing information.
If a payment fails, Echo’s Treats or its payment provider may retry the charge. Membership benefits may be suspended while payment remains unsuccessful.
The membership may be canceled after the available payment attempts have failed.
Membership Misuse
Echo’s Treats may suspend or terminate a membership when there is reasonable evidence of:
-
Fraudulent or unauthorized payment activity
-
Sharing or reselling membership benefits or discount codes
-
Repeated misuse of discounts or complimentary benefits
-
Commercial use of a personal membership
-
Abusive, threatening, or unlawful conduct
-
Chargeback abuse
-
A material violation of this policy or another Echo’s Treats policy
When a membership is terminated for misuse or a policy violation, the current membership charge will not be refunded to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to Membership Pricing or Benefits
Echo’s Treats may update membership pricing, benefits, eligibility requirements, or other membership terms.
Members will receive notice before a material change takes effect. The notice will explain the change, its effective date, and how to manage or cancel the membership.
Members may cancel before the change becomes effective.
Discontinuing the Membership Program
Echo’s Treats may discontinue the membership program or a specific membership tier.
If the program is discontinued:
-
Future renewals will stop
-
Members will receive notice when reasonably possible
-
Any remaining paid membership period will be handled as explained in the discontinuation notice
-
Echo’s Treats may provide continued access, a prorated refund, store credit, or another reasonable resolution when paid benefits cannot be provided
